Established in 1937 by the late Dr. Alan Secord, Secord is one of the oldest small animal hospitals in Toronto.

In 1970 Dr Secord relocated the Secord Animal Hospital from Yonge & St Clair to it's present location at Yonge & Lawrence St.  Since 1993, The Secord Animal Hospital has been operated by Drs Mark Teeger and Michael Cormier.

The hospital underwent an extensive renovation in 2003 where we increased our front office area, examination rooms and reorganized the animal care areas, including an exclusive separate cat boarding facility.

We are proud to mention that since 1938, Secord has been an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), being the longest standing continuously AAHA accredited Animal Hospital in Canada.
